Karachi: A pride for Pakistan is that it got the right from the Asian Cricket Council to host the upcoming Asia Cup in 2020. However, the venue is still chaotic. Pakistan still did not decide the location of this memorable upcoming event.
The Asian Cricket Council Executive board meeting held in Dhaka where the ACC made the above-mentioned decision.
According to President ACC, Nazmul Hassan, “Pakistan has the right to host the historical event of the Asia Cup in 2020. The hosting rights belong to them and they need to decide now where they should host it.”
The schedule of the upcoming Asia Cup is for sure in September 2020 headed by the ICC T20 World Cup. It is an obvious fact that it is a thing of pride for Pakistan to host such a great event. Pakistan has warmly welcomed the decision of ACC.
Although the venue is not yet decided, it seems that Pakistan Cricket Board will select UAE to host this event. It is still not decided, but keeping in view the historical facts, it is merely a guess.
However, only Pakistan Cricket Board has the right to decide the location for the next Asia Cup matches. And PCB will decide only a few months before what to do? The PCB needs to analyze the climate and situation in the available countries.
In the current year, Pakistan hosted the Asia Cup matches. This event held in Karachi where the teams from Hong Kong, Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates took part in the tournaments.
