Peshawar: The Chief Minister of KPK held a meeting in Peshawar to promote the tourism in Khyber Pakhtoon Khawah. He proposed a plan in this context.
According to Mehmood Khan’s plan, the government will widen the roads connecting to the farms, rural and urban areas.
The basic purpose of widening the roads is to promote tourism and to encourage the tourists. However, it will also help the growers and traders to bring their cash crops to the markets without facing any problem.
The Government is now looking for a plan to get land so that the roads could be widened. It will bring more tourists to the province and the local people will be prosperous.
The province is full of beautiful landscaping but the roads are narrow. The travelling on these roads becomes risky for the tourists.
That’s why most of them hesitate while coming here. The initial phase of the plan was discussed in detail with the CM in the meeting.
According to the plan, the government will reconstruct and widen about 1,000 km roads in the province. It will include the rural roads, urban and the roads linking the farms to the local markets. So, it is equally beneficial for the traders for a handsome profit.
By promoting tourism, the socioeconomic life of the local people will become a lot better. The change is going to prevail not only in the rural but urban areas too.
On the initial stage, the Asian Development Bank is going to aid the pre and whole feasibility process.
