PESHAWAR: Sheikh Rasheed, Federal Railways Minister has given good news for the people of Peshawar and Karachi. Today, he inaugurated Rahman Baba Express to lessen the distance between Peshawar and Karachi.
Rahman Baba Express is a high-speed train for the people of Peshawar and Karachi. However, it will travel through, Nowshera, Attock, Rawalpindi, Wazirabad, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Rohri, Nawabshah, Hyderabad and Landhi. So, it is going to lessen the distances for the people of the above-mentioned cities.
This high-speed express comprises 10 coaches for economy class people. The people would be able to travel between Peshawar and Karachi within 8 hours. The fare is again nominal i.e. 1350 Rs.
Federal Railways Minister states that Rahman Baba Express is, in fact, a gift of Prime Minister for the people of Pakistan. He further states that the whole railway track between the two cosmopolitan cities will be upgraded. It will be up to the mark to meet the expectations of the passengers. So, they can travel with comfort and ease while enjoying international travelling standards.
He points out that the management will clear the encroachments from the railway tracks. He states that three more high-speed trains are going to be launched very soon. It will be a step toward promoting safer safari tourism in Pakistan. He further adds that Pakistani people have elected Imran Khan and he is going to take another step towards their betterment. He announced that the people travelling in Rahman Baba Express on the first day will pay half fare.
