Pak vs SA: South Africa wins by 9 wickets and takes 2-0 lead

Newlands: Another test match defeat and another test match series defeat for Pakistan as they lost the second Test match against South Africa by nine wickets at Newlands.

But this defeat is not as worse as it could be. Pakistan saved the innings defeat as their batsmen showed some sort of resistance in their second innings. Again, the South African bowlers were very good in their second innings. Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada took four wickets each and bowled out Pakistan just under 300 to achieve a target of only 41 runs.

Today, South African openers came to the crease to chase the target. But, TB de Bruyn got out on the bowling of Mohammad Amir when the score of South Africa was just 4 runs. Amla got retired hurt and then Dean Elgar and F du Plessis took their team towards the victory.

In the last test match series against New Zealand in UAE, Pakistani also lost the last test match and awarded series to the New Zealanders.

This defeat has raised many questions on the Sarfraz’s captaincy but alone Sarfraz cannot do anything if the batsmen do not take any responsibility. The bowling was good in both the test matches but it is the only batting that led them down.

The last test match between these two teams will be played at Port Elizabeth from 19th of this month. And the fans are eagerly waiting to see a good batting performance and a win from Pakistan.
