Some TV channels claimed that the winter vacations have been extended in Punjab due to fog and chilly weather.
But later on, the Education Minister Murad Raas tweeted and said that the news about the extension of winter vacations across Punjab is fake.
He further added that there are some fake channels that are circulating the fake news about the winter vacations extension. The schools are not closed. They are open.
Earlier, some of the TV channels claimed that the notification related to the extension of winter vacations have been issued and the vacations are extended till 15th January 2019.
