Karachi Chief Police Amir Sheikh claimed on Friday that the terrorists attack on Chinese Consulate in Karachi was planned in Afghanistan. He also added that RAW (Indian Intelligence Agency) funded to execute the attack.
In a press conference, Sheikh said that RAW supported some of the members of Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) who executed their plans to attack the Chinese Consulate. He also added that we have reports related to the death of Aslam Achu who was the mastermind, but we cannot say anything unless we see his body.
Sharing the details with the media, he explained that we arrested five facilitators from different regions of Karachi, Hub, and Quetta after conducting successful raids in Sindh and Balochistan.
Further, he added that a person named Bashir Zeb was the leader of the group who attacked the Chinese consulate. There were also some relatives of Aslam Achu who were involved in this attack.
Dr. Sheikh said that a person living in Karachi’s Baldia Town helped the attackers by providing weapons that were brought via train from Balochistan to Karachi.
The attack was executed on November 23 that killed at least seven people including all the three attackers and two police officers.
