ICC Announces Schedule for T20 World Cup 2020

The International Cricket Council has announced the schedule for T20 World Cup 2020. This time, Australia will be the host country for the T20 World Cup 2020. The schedule includes the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup and Men’s T20 World Cup matches.

The T20 Women’s World Cup is going to be started on Februaryruary 21, next year and will be continued till March 8. The first match will be between the host team Australia and India.

Men’s T20 is going to be started from 18th Octoberober and it will be continued till 15th Novemberember this year. Total 16 teams are taking part in Men’s T20 World Cup whereas, 10 teams will take part in Women’s T20 World Cup. The top-ranked Pakistani cricket team versus Australian cricket team will play the opening match. Total eight high-ranked teams have directly qualified and they are taking part in the next ICC T20. The teams of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will be considered the two known qualifiers to participate in the first round qualifiers. There will be a qualifying tournament in 2019 that will decide the fate of other six teams.

The teams have been divided into two groups namely Group A and Group B. There are six teams in each group to make Super 12.

Both of the Men’s and Women’s tournaments will be played on 13 different locations in Australia in eight cities.
