The Government of Pakistan is taking revolutionary initiatives to uplift the living standards of the people. One of them is the issuance of Sehat Sahulat Insurance Scheme to ensure the necessities and healthcare facilities to the people. This revolutionary Sehat Sahulat Insurance Scheme will facilitate 15 million families across the nation.
The signing ceremony for this scheme organized on Wednesday in Islamabad. Aamir Mahmood Kiyani, Minister for National Health Service, said that the Health Department has widely extended Sehat Sahulat Insurance Scheme to all the provinces of Pakistan. Earlier, it was limited to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa only. He further states that it is going to create a very positive impact on Pakistan’s healthcare zone. It will be hugely beneficial for the general public. The minister assured that the health department is working for the completion of project day and night.
According to the new Sehat Sahulat Insurance Scheme, fifteen million families will get the free treatment facility. The government will issue the scheme cards to the families living below the poverty line. The Health Minister assured that the health department would issue these cards to 25 million people by the end of this month.
