RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority has sealed the offices of five illegal housing schemes on Chakri road Rawalpindi.
According to the press release from RDA, the sealed offices were running campaigns for illegal housing societies. The RDA sealed the offices of Blue World City, Abdullah City, Capital Smart City, Megma City, and Khanial Housing Scheme.
The RDA had issued warning notice under the Punjab Private Housing Schemes and Land Sub Division regulation 2010, but they didn’t respond to the notice. Resultantly, the RDA enforcement team had to take this initiative with the help of the Police.
RDA Director General Hayat has advised the public to be careful and do not invest in such illegal housing societies. Otherwise, they will be responsible for the loss. RDA also directed the Electricity Supply Company Islamabad, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines and PTCL to avoid providing services to such housing societies.
