DUBAI: The Pakistan Super League has announced that all the teams taking part in the PSL 2019 will observe the Childhood Cancer Awareness Day on Feb 15 whereas; they will observe the Breast Cancer Awareness Day on March 10.
On Feb 15, the opening match will start between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings. Later, Peshawar Zalmi will take on Quetta Gladiators on the same day. All these teams will wear Golden Ribbons on 15th Feb to symbolize the Childhood Cancer Awareness campaign. The match commentators will also observe the day by wearing the Golden Ribbon. Even the cricket equipment and the Dubai International Stadium will also represent the theme of Childhood Cancer Awareness Day.
On March 10, the PSL teams will play the matches in Lahore and Karachi. They all will wear Pink Ribbons on their arms to observe the Breast Cancer Awareness Day. Match commentators will also follow the theme of the day. The cricket equipment and the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore and National Stadium Karachi will represent the theme of the day.
