All Commercial Flights Suspended in Pakistan, An Aerial Emergency Declared

Latest Updates: Pakistan Civil Aviation has issued a notification that all the commercial flights will be suspended until tomorrow at 12 midnight.

All flight operations have been postponed for commercial flights. The airports in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, Islamabad, and Karachi are closed for commercial flights today and Pak Civil Aviation has declared an aerial emergency. All airports will be closed for departure and arrival of commercial flights until the further orders are released. A flight was coming from China via India to Pakistan; it has been stopped. Some flights have been allowed to land on Karachi airport, but many have been returned.

Commercial Flights Suspended in Pakistan

However, Pakistan Civil Aviation has also suspended the departure for domestic and international flights from Karachi airport until the further orders.

Pakistan Civil Aviation has informed all the airports mentioned above to keep the runways closed. All airlines have been informed regarding the aerial emergency in Pakistan.

Today morning, Pakistan shot down two Indian fighter jets and arrested one Indian pilot. The aerial emergency is declared to ensure the security measures for the nation.

India also locked airspaces of four airports in northern areas of the country after getting a surprise from Pakistan Air Force early morning today.
