Relevant Information for Zain Users (Visitors)
You can buy a new Zain SIM in SAR 30 from the airport or any nearby franchise. The SIM comes with SAR 23.57 balance. When you use the new SIM without any package, a local call or international call will cost you 0.55 SAR/minute. A local and international SMS will cost you SAR 0.25 and browsing data will cost you 0.50 SAR/MB.
The above-given rates for SMS, Call and browsing are for “Off-Peak” hours. If you use Zain SIM in “Peak Hours” you will be charged 0.65 instead of 0.55. The Off-Peak hours are 8 PM to 8 AM and Peak Hours are 8 AM to 8 PM.

Zain SMS Packages for Postpaid Users
Currently, there are no special SMS packages for the postpaid users of Zain. The company offers only data plans and call packages for postpaid users. However, if the subscriber wants to send/receive SMS to a Zain number, the standard rates, i.e., 0.15 SAR/SMS will be applicable. For other networks, you will pay 0.35 SAR/SMS.
