Ramadan-ul-Mubarak is only a few days far from us. The countdown has started and the month full of rewards, blessings, and heavenly gifts is at hand. The Muslims all over the world are anxious to welcome the holiest month of the year. Allah Almighty showers his blessings in this month and the mosques remain full of the people during this month. The people enjoy the unlimited blessings and seek forgiveness of Allah Almighty.
Ramadan is considered the holiest month of the Islamic year because the Holy Quran was revealed in this month.
Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran, “We sent it (this Qur’an) down on a blessed Night. Verily, We are ever warning (mankind of Our Torment). Therein (that Night) is decreed every matter of ordainment. Amran (i.e. a command or this Qur’an or His Decree of every matter) from Us. Verily, We are ever sending (the Messenger). (AS) a Mercy from your Lord. Verily! He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.” (Ad-Dukhaan 44: 3-6)
Narrated Abu Huraira(R.A): The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa’alihi Wasallam) said:”… whoever fasts during Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah’s rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven.” (Imam Bukhari).
