ISLAMABAD: The Federal Ministry has issued Eid holidays notification today. According to the notification, there will be four public holidays from 4th June (Tuesday) to 7th June (Friday).

As the Minister of Science and Technology, Pakistan, Fawad Chaudhry has declared that this year, Eid-ul-Fitr will be observed on June 5. His ministry has prepared a lunar calendar and that shows Eid-ul-Fitr on June 5. However, the Ruet-i-Hilal committee of Pakistan will announce the final date for Eid.

The Govt. has announced Eid holidays for the people. There will be four public holidays for them including 3 days of Eid and one holiday ahead of Eid day.

Eid ul Fitr culminates Ramadan, the most blessed month for Muslims after 30 or 29 days of fasting and the Muslims wait for this special occasion anxiously.
