Corona Vaccination Centers Resume the vaccination process as another consignment of the vaccine has arrived from China

The center for COVID-19 vaccination had been stopped working due to the shortage of Corona vaccine. Currently, they have resumed functioning.

Karachi: Vaccination for Corona has been resumed after the supply of Corona vaccine at Karachi’s most vaccination centers.

According to the reports, the supply of Corona vaccine was suspended at the Arts Councils Karachi. On Monday, the Govt. ensured the supply of Corona vaccine at the Arts Councils and other vaccination centers in Punjab. So, now the citizens can get vaccinated from the nearby vaccination centers. On Sunday, a special flight of PIA from China arrived at Islamabad airport and brought 1.55 million doses of Corona vaccine for Pakistanis. According to the National Command and Operation Center, Pakistan has bought the Sinovac vaccine from China this week. In the next week, two to three million doses of Corona vaccines will be shipped to Pakistan to get rid of this bolt from the blue.

According to the administration in the Cosmopolitan city of Punjab (Lahore), the people who need Sinovac and Sinopharm can get vaccinated from their nearby centers. However, AstraZeneca is still short and the users of this vaccine have to wait for a while.

In other cities of Punjab such as Multan, and Bahawalpur, the process of vaccination started on Sunday once they received the next consignment of Sinovac vaccine from China.

Earlier, Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan stated on a social platform that Pakistan will get 1.55 million doses of Corona vaccine on 20 June, 2.5 million jabs after two days, and 2 – 3 million vaccines along with 400,000 shots of Pakvac doses will arrive in the last week of June. He further added that if there is any problem in the distribution of Corona vaccine shots in local vaccination centers will be resolved by Monday or Tuesday as Pakistan has received a bulk amount of vaccine shots.
