Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has again submitted his written reply to the Islamabad High Court in contempt of court case.
Islamabad High Court had ordered Imran Khan to submit a reply today in the contempt of court case regarding the controversial statement made by Imran Khan on behalf of Additional Judge Zeba Chaudhry while addressing a rally in Islamabad on August 20.
According to the details, Imran Khan said in the new answer that his words came out unintentionally and he will not be ashamed to express his regret to the female judge for his words, the intention was never to insult or hurt the sentiments of the lady judge. If her feelings or sentiments were hurt then I am very sorry for my words.
I always respect the judiciary and I also respect the Islamabad High Court and its subordinate courts. He further said that the judges are always busy in providing justice to the common man, I believe in the supremacy of the constitution and the rule of law, I did not intend to threaten the female judge, and I cannot even think of doing so.
The new written response submitted by Imran Khan to IHC consists of 19 pages. He stated that I assure the court that I will act very carefully in such cases in the future. Khan also requested to withdraw the show cause notice of contempt of court.
