According to the details, A large number of political dignitaries including Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Federal Ministers, Special Assistants to the Prime Minister, Members of Parliament, Civil and Military Officers, and Muslim League (N) leaders participated in the ceremony.

In the meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif in London, it was decided to make Ishaq Dar the Finance Minister in place of Miftah Ismail, after which Miftah Ismail submitted his resignation to party leader Nawaz Sharif. However, Ishaq Dar is holding the portfolio of the Ministry of Finance for the fourth time after ending his self-imposed exile from abroad on the instructions of his political leadership.

PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif has given Ishaq Dar the task of improving the country’s economy and stabilizing the value of the rupee. Dar is optimistic to pull Pakistan out of the economic crisis. After landing in Islamabad, he said, “I will try my best to fulfill all the responsibilities. We will pull Pakistan out of an economic maelstrom as we did in 1998 and 2013.”

Ishaq Dar is known for taking tough economic decisions and negotiating with financial institutions including the IMF. He has once again taken charge of the Finance Ministry at a time when inflation is on the rise in the country, the Pakistani rupee is constantly depreciating against the US dollar, and foreign exchange reserves are continuously decreasing.
