41 New Dengue Cases Confirmed in Rawalpindi; Strict Actions Taken for SOP Violations

Health authorities have confirmed that 41 more people in Rawalpindi have been infected by the dengue virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 1,695. Of these cases, 80 individuals have been admitted to various Rawalpindi hospitals, and three of them are in critical condition.

At the same time, the district administration has taken action against dengue SOP violations. Fourteen such cases have been reported, resulting in the sealing of three buildings, and violators have been fined Rs10,000. The district administration statement reveals that a total of 3,828 SOP violation cases have been registered, leading to the sealing of 593 buildings, the issuance of 1,085 fine tickets, and a cumulative fine of Rs6,675,500.
