YouTube, the renowned platform, is actively working on developing more features and revamping the YouTube Kids app.

According to a blog post, some of these modifications are tailored for the web version, while others cater to the smartphone app and Smart TV software.

The library tab has been renamed to “You,” consolidating playlists, downloads, watched videos, and purchases into one place for both web and mobile users.

Among the updates is the introduction of “Press 2 (2X)” which allows users to double video speed by pressing and holding their finger on the video.

To minimize interruptions during video playback, a feature called “Screen Lock” has been added, and “Stable Volume” has been incorporated to ensure consistent sound levels in videos.

Additionally, a new feature named “Thumbnail Preview” has been introduced, primarily designed to offer larger thumbnail views for smartphones and tablets.

These features are slated to become available to users in the coming weeks, as stated in the blog post.
